Thorolfur Skalla-Grimsson is dead. He was killed in a battle in England where he was serving in king Adalsteinn's army. Egill was full of sorrow when he found out that his brother was dead and Egill went berserk. He killed every enemy he could reach to and therefore he was late to a party that king Adalsteinn gave to celebrate his victory in the battle against the Scots. When Egill finally came to the party he still looked very angry and didn't utter a word but he got happier when king Adalsteinn paid him lots of silver as compensation for Thorolfur.
