Ossur, Hrutur Herjolfsson uncle, has reached land at Hvitaros. Hrutur then sailed on his ship to Norway where he is going to claim his right to inheritance.

Hallvardur the white is the conductor of the ship that landed at Arnarbaelisos. Hallvardur stays with Gunnar Hamundarson at Hlidarendi this winter.
