Then the wolves Hati Hrodvitnisson and Skoll will swallow the sun and the moon and the stars will disappear from the sky. Hard earthquakes will occur and Fenrisulfur's breaks free from its chains. There will be floods so that Midgardsormur crawls ashore and spews poison. The horrible ship, Naglfar, which is made of dead people's nails, floats. The sky is cleft/split and an army of evil creatures gets into the world and gets their way up into Asgard. In the van of the evil creatures are Muspellssynir, giants of fire, then come Loki, Fenrisulfur, Midgardsormur and more giants. They will fight the final battle against the Aesir and brave men (who go to Odinn's place after death).
In this battle Fenrisulfur swallows Odinn, Midgardsormur and Thor kill each other and so do Loki and Heimdallur. In the enda everybody gets killed and Surtur throws fire all over the world and the earth sinks into the sea.
But there's still hope! The earth will rise from the sea again and then it'll be grean, fertile and beautiful. The sun has given birth to a daughter which will become the new sun. And a golden age will start.
